14 Jan My Favorite Places of 2014
We’re already 2 weeks into 2015, which means that my annual “Year in Review” post is admittedly a little overdue. But even a little delayed, 2014 is still worth taking a moment to recognize and reflect upon.
After all, 2014 was the year where….
- I went on dozens of day and weekend trips all throughout the mid-Atlantic
- I had an article published for the very first time in a print publication (Edible DC)
- Thanks to all your support, Packed Suitcase got voted as one of Elliot.com’s Best Travel Blogs of 2015
- I even got nominated for an Emmy! (For my real-world job, not my blog job 🙂 )
So, yeah… 2014 was pretty incredible.
Before delving into “where to go in 2015” (stay tuned next week for that!), I wanted to share some of my absolutely favorite spots that I discovered through last year’s travels. If you want more information about any of the trips, just click on the photos and you’ll be taken to the trip’s blog post.
