Solomons Sunset

Solomons Island is one of my favorite spots in Maryland to see the sun set.

You’re sure to get an amazing view pretty much wherever you can see the water, but I recommend finding a spot along the wooden boardwalk that separates the town’s main street (Solomons Island Road) and the Patuxent River. Snag one of the boardwalk’s many benches (if you’re lucky enough to find one unoccupied!) and admire the changing colors as the sun fades from sight.

Here’s another view, taken from one of the many craggily inlets on the outskirts of Solomons.

      Hi Ralita — I took this photo of the bridge right along the main strip along the Solomons Boardwalk. Right near all the restaurants located right there on the point.
