Next Stop: Seattle and the Pacific Northwest

Next Stop: Seattle and the Pacific Northwest

My bags are packed for a new adventure. Tomorrow, I’m heading to the Pacific Northwest!

This summer, I’ve run into countless friends who are either going to Seattle, who have lived in Seattle, or who just plain adore Seattle. Because of all this adoration, the Emerald City has been top of mind. So, it became an obvious choice when I was deciding where to go for an end-of-summer trip.

I’m flying out super-early (6 am!) and will have 2 full days in downtown Seattle. I’ve got a CityPASS, which I’m excited to use to visit the iconic attractions such as the Space Needle, the Pacific Science Center and the EMP Museum. Also on the agenda are Pike Place Market (home of the very first Starbucks!), King Tut’s exhibit, and other good times with my friend, Jill.

Once my urban exploration is over, I’ll be picked up by my fabulous road-trippin’ parents (who are on a 6 week camper-van adventure of their own…) to spend a few days roughing it with them in Olympic National Park.

Can’t wait!

Marc and I are contemplating a trip to the PNW – roadtripping from Seattle to Portland. Can’t wait to read about your Seattle adventures!

Hi Erin! That sounds like a fun trip. I’ve been wanting to go to Portland… just to try the Voodoo Doughnuts, believe it or not! (#willtravelforfood)
